E3 is next week and I'm pretty excited.So far this year there haven't really been any big game announcements (besides like Gears of War 2 and Diablo 3, and I'm hoping some big stuff gets announced next week. Here's what I want to see announced/just see some gameplay fianlly:
Battlefield 3*
new game from Team Ico
Half-Life 2 Episode 3
God of War 3
Brothers in Arms 3 (new multiplayer info!)
New Company of Heroes expansion*
New puzzler-esque game from Q entertainment*
Resident Evil 5 gamemplay (PLEASE!)
Dawn of War 2 (looks like fun)
Alien VS Predator 3 (I can dream, right?)*
*=games that I am just hoping will be announced and are not actually known to be in production.
I would have SC2 and D3 there too, but Blizz isn't going to E3 this year (also they never show new stuff at E3 any more, they save it for their own conventions). Also Spore would be there too if they haven't already shown the entire game basically to the public. THAT GAME IS BASICALLY DONE. PUT IT OUT ALREADY!

Blizzard's parent company (Activison Blizzard, formally Activison/Vivendi) opted not to attend E3 this year, it's not that Blizzard didn't want to show there. Blizzard is big enough now that they can hold their own events and not have to share press time with other companies, so they generally do that.

Personally hoping to see stuff on any of the following (in no order):
- Fallout 3
- Fable 2
- Spore (Agree with OP that there's already been a lot of coverage on this, so not too excited for its E3 showing)
- Mass Effect 2
- Dragon Age
- BioWare MMO
- Other BioWare game
- Gears of War 2
- Age of Empires 4
- Infinite Undiscovery
- Star Ocean: The Last Hope
- Final Fantasy XIII
- The Last Remnant
- Half-Life 2: Episode Three
- Star Wars: Force Unleashed
- Resident Evil 5
- Battlefield 3 (same as OP)
I think all the companies from the above games are going, so assuming they are that's what I would like to see information/trailers/etc on.

I agree that it's not as big as it used to be or anything, but the sheer lack of announcements this year from just about every publisher/manufacturer leaves me to believe that there will be some bigger stuff announced this year than last year.

Also I'm fairly sure my younger brother would enjoy age of empires 4, and we're both still waiting for Halo Wars.
I'd like a new Call of Duty but it's probably way too early to be thinking about that, also there's always a chance they'll go back to WWII and to be honest with you guys I'm sick of WWII games.

meh all pretty standard...for me the dream would be deus ex 3 cos after having replayed deus ex 1 like 10 times im pretty certain it's the best game of all time even if deus ex 2 sucked. Resi 5 i hope hope hope hasn't lost the magic!
Looking forward to any new games...god i haven't waited for a brand new game for a long time. I got out of the loop for mass effect...I have it on my hard drive but haven't had time to play. Spore looks cool...although maybe just a timesink. Agree with the guy waiting for the price drop
