Still I wish there was somethin you would do or say
To try and make me change my mind and stay
We never did too much talkin anyway
So dont think twice, its all right
Bob Dylan is given the title of the #2 Greatest Artist of All Time by Rolling Stones.
From my knowledge of him, I don't think Bob ever wanted to be more than a good songwriter. When people are like, "Oh, my God, you're having an effect on culture and society" -- I doubt he thinks like that.
He was a huge component of the counter culture movement,
A number of his songs, such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'", became anthems of the anti-war and civil rights movements.
This song, "It's Alright, Don't Think Twice" was released on his 2nd album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" in 1963. Since then it has been covered by many artists, including Evlis Presley, Eric Clapton, and Peter Paul and Mary. This song is a good representation of his accoustic folk style, accented with melodic heartfelt harmonica solos.
