Don't you have any other means of communication with that person?

Unfortunately... not really. I was just curious what that could mean. Im sure they just didnt pay their bill, but Ive never come across that before. I actually rarely use my cell phone myself, so I really dont know much about what happens if you dont pay your bill and stuff.

Hmm. Weird. I always thought "This number is not working" meant that the phone is turned off. I get a message "The number you are calling cannot be accessed at the moment" when the phone is turned off. I doubt your friend's phone is turned off for an entire week though. In my country (I'm not sure if its the same everywhere), if the phone bill isn't paid, incoming calls are accepted and outgoing calls can only be made to the emergency line.

Hmm. It would be weird for this person to block me or whatever, or to turn their phone off. Interesting. Thanks for the response.

Actually, what other reasons would their be for turning your phone off? Ive never done it Like not turning it off temporarily when you have it with you, I mean like turning it off turning it off lol

I keep my phone off for only 2 reasons:
-No battery charge and no charger nearby -I forget to switch it on silent in school and need a faster way to prevent it from ringing
Good luck contacting your friend though

When my phone is off I think I can still get calls. Ill have to check on that. Hmmm...
And thanks, I kind of just met this person but she said to call whenever I wanna hang out, so its weird she'd be unreachable... women

I shut my phone off and called it and it brought up my voicemail. So I dont think she temporarily shut her phone off.

sometimes when you get that its:
1. cell phone is discontinued(new one), happens a lot. 2. ran out of minutes/didnt pay bill.
if they shut off their phone, your call goes straight to voicemail.

So think I should just keep trying to call on days I have off from work when Id be looking to hang out? I havent even gotten her voicemail, so she didnt just turn it off. I guess its entirely possible she didnt pay her bill and I guess she could have gotten a new phone, but wouldnt she have kept the number? Unless she was trying to avoid me for some reason lol Thanks guys

They might have lost their phone... I know a friend of my shut off their service when someone stole their phone, and I lost mine and I did the same thing until I found it.
