I leave for the pub with a few rowing mates at 10pm.
Grab a few pints, fly a few good stories amongst us. Some terrible jokes, inetersting college stories, remarks about how british words can get you into some deep shit if used incorrectly (Pants = underwear... so you can imagine what kind of shit that can get you into...)
I get back at 12:00am, go to the toilet and close the door and wonder, "hm why aren't the lights on?" whereupon I realize that I didn't flip the lights on. Intoxication does strange things to even a learned man, if I can call myself one.
I start watching some of the TSL-TOP-Player-Replay-Analysis vids, watch the 2nd vid of Stalife since I've started playing P again. Especially enjoy the little tidbit about cutting probes PvT.
Then I come back to TL.net to look for threads to post random dunken shit in, and realize that "hey, that ON AIR thingy is showing TSL as on air still!" Awesome stuff, I get to tune into some live awesomeness when I thought I had missed all the action for the night.

Right, right, it's all so clear now. Also, how come "pants" was the best example of bad british words? I would imagine "fag" and "pissed" would be more dangerous? I need a blog of my own

I've never run into trouble with fag and pissed is generally explained by context. I mean ok, if a gay friend of mine said they were going out to pick up some fags I may misread it but he generally has cigarettes on him when he goes to pick up guys.

lol I misuse "pissed" all the time but when you use it you're rarely in a situation where you give a fuck in the first place lol.

Oh, and my gay friend was hyped to meet people from teh intarwebz when you all lanned here but apparently he got a strange look from one of you and was really disappointed. There again, he is a little crazy about these things. But either way, I blame you Haji.

Swedes with poor english are bound for some hilarious misunderstandings, we've got such nuggets as a dot being called "prick", speed being "fart" and specialized knowledge, unions, post boxes and branches of industry all being called "fack", which is pronounced exactly like fuck. I have a lot of fuck knowledge, please hire me.
