While you drive hastily, you head to Alma’s house. The first military encampment proved to be overrun by the zombies, and you’re not taking chances now that time is against you. Also, you could be shot down or quarantined if militia thought you were a threat to the camp security; Medic clinic might as well be overrun too. After all, crowded places turn often into zombie hordes.
Alma on the other hand, lives in a suburb outside the city; it’s possible that there are next to no zombies there, as the place is isolated and not too much people live there. However, she doesn’t live close to you, so if she is not home, you’re pretty much screwed.
As you reach the outskirts of the town, you notice that zombie numbers diminish. That’s a good sign. After all, you seem to have taken the right decision. You reach Alma’s house quite quickly right after you left the city.
There seems to be no evidence of zombies here, perhaps this place is still clean. You ring Alma’s bell, and she opens the door. As soon as she sees you and Rodrigo, she rushes at you. You both look hurt and tired. Alma quickly gets you both into the house.
She is quickly to ask what happened to you both. You begin by telling her what’s been happening since early morning, while she starts cleaning Rodrigo’s wound and wraps a bandage in his leg.
-Hey, this is serious, you’re both injured, stop joking- says Alma.
You show Alma your wound on your foot. As Alma examines your wound, she realizes that it’s a human bite. She looks surprised, but she doesn’t believe you yet. After she cleans the wound and wraps it with a bandage, you discuss what your next step will be. Both Rodrigo and you look tired, Alma’s house might be a safe place, but you’ve got a zombie bite and it’s a matter of time before you start turning into a zombie. Since Alma won’t believe you about the zombie thing, you need to show her evidence. You’ve got a chance to do so, as you need to get a shitload of supplies if you plan to stay at Alma’s.
And you need a cure for the bite. As you remember that, you tell both Alma and Rodrigo that you need to go to the med clinic. At least there is a lab there and you can get your blood analyzed to get yourself a treatment you think. Rodrigo is injured and would only hinder your because you’d need to take care of him. Right now, Alma’s house is a safe place, so it might be good idea if Rodrigo stayed and Alma took care of him.
You feel so tired. You’re getting drowsy, and your head start to hurt. Alma is quick to give you some aspirins, and you drink a cup of concentrated coffee, to get yourself a bit stimulated. You think that it’d be best if you leave now.
Before you leave, you ask Alma if she has any sort of weapon in the house. She nods and asks why, but after thinking a moment, in the worst case, they would need it if zombies were to reach Alma’s. So you just tell her to be really careful. You depart towards the med clinic.
The coffee starts doing its effect. You feel more awake. As you drive the road, you step on the breaks hard before you run over a guy. The guy is panicked, and with a good reason. You look to your left, and see some zombies coming your way. You’re quick to open the door and tell him to get into your ride. Without a second of doubt, he gets inside. You speed as soon as possible.
You ask whether he is hurt or not. His response is affirmative, as he’s been bitten. He’s quickly to show you that he’s injured from the arm. He’s really freaked out, and yells that two of his friends and his girlfriend are trapped inside the building he’s currently pointing. You tell him that it’s too dangerous to go back, as there is a zombie horde running behind your car, a few hundred meters away. He tries to grab the wheel, and you push the break and stop the car, at a safe distance from the zombies.
The guy is freaking out and frenetically tells you to go back for his friends. But you’ve got a major concern. Both of you have been bitten. Your only hope to heal yourselves is to go to the med clinic and hope to find something/someone useful. And you also have the time on your shoulders. You’ve been bitten about an hour ago, and you don’t really know how long the zombification process is due to last. However, this guy seems to be really stubborn. You’ve got yourself a dilemma:
Poll: What are you going to do?
(Vote): Go to the clinic NOW
(Vote): Help him and try to save his friends
(Vote): Kick him out, you've got no time
