So, after thinking for a while, you decide its best to go search for Rodrigo. You don't want to risk running into a zombie horde or some bastard that just steals your ship and screws you. Also, Rodrigo is not that far away, so I'd be best if you saw a friendly face rather than a strange one.
You hope that Rodrigo is IN his house, and NOT attacked yet. After all, you have no clue of what’s happening other than you know that is a zombie apocalypse. So, you speed up your car and head for Rodrigo's.
You arrive at his location quite quickly because you're in a rush to find help. The houses here seem pretty normal… oh except for the one 1 block away, that is surrounded by zombies.
So you leave your car and ring the bell, when you notice that the door is already opened. Oh shit hopefully Rodrigo will be fine. So you scout the area really quickly finding no immediate threats. Then you go in the house really carefully, whispering “Rodrigo! Rodrigo!”. After all, you don't want to alert any nearby zombie if there is one actually.
As you go deep into the house, silence envelopes you. You wonder if Rodrigo is home after all. It's already 7:30 and the sun is beginning to rise. So, when you cross the living room, you see Rodrigo's room ahead. You open it really slowly and quietly. You whisper again “Rodrigo?”. When you finish the word you hear a zombie. You turn quickly and see him behind you. Oh it's his brother. You never liked him anyway. The problem is that he is charging at you. Swiftly, you enter the room and shut the door.
That was close.
Now, you're trapped inside the house. You need to find a way out besides that door. After all, there is a zombie behind it. So you scour for anything that might be useful for bringing that bastard zombie down. There is nothing. Oh man, you really need to get out, before it gets swarmed by zombies.
You've been inside the room for 30 minutes now, thinking of a way out. The idea of opening the door and running through the zombie has crossed your mind more than once, but you realize it's way too dangerous to try, because after all, in zombie apocalypses, 1 bite and you're out. You would have tried to break the window also, but you're too big to fit in. You're running out of time and it's getting dangerous, as you hear more than one mumbling. You've already tried phoning anyone, but the line is down.
Suddenly, you hear some steps, and you hear the zombie goes away from the room. Great! Now might be the time to break free and try another location. You take a quick look from the bottom of the door and you see the path is free. So there you go and try to break free.
Before you reach the front door, you hear some wrestling near the kitchen. It might be Rodrigo after all! You run to investigate. In fact, it is Rodrigo fighting off a zombie with a knife. You assist him swiftly by grabbing a chair and smashing it against the zombie. Then you contemplate your friend's pale face.
-What the fuck is happening man? Rodrigo says.
You have a quick conversation about what's been happening, and about the info you got. Well, at least you find a friendly face, and you're not alone now. You both need a plan to be safe. You explain Rodrigo that you've already tried the military base but it got overrun by zombies. You think that your best bet at staying safe is finding more people. After all, zombie's strength lies in the numbers, because they're terribly stupid alone. After thinking for a while, you come up with the idea that a place that could probably be crowded would be college, or high school.
Before you depart to your destination, you both agree that you'll need weapons to fight the zombies off, in case of an imminent threat. Neither of you knows where the weapons store is, so there is no firepower right now. You come up with going to a hardware store, grabbing anything that might be useful.
So you drive to the nearest hardware store but it is closed. Today is a zombie apocalypse, so you don't hesitate and bring the door down with your car. So you look for anything that might be useful. You grab a long stick, and Rodrigo tries for an axe. You tell him that the axe would be a bad idea, that you need something that keeps you at distance from the zombies. Since neither of you have any fighting experience, Rodrigo agrees. Then you come up with an idea: You might not know where the gun shop is, but you do know where the police station is. If it turns to be zombie infested, which is very likely, you could steal cop’s guns after all. However, Rodrigo thinks that would not be a good idea, there might be too many zombies for you to handle. You disagree, but he might be right. You don't want to run into a bloody mess that you can't get out of. He suggests that we try the highschool first, as there could be some survivors there.
You've got two options now, either head directly for the highschool or try getting more firepower. If you could get your hands into those guns, you'd be safer. But if you could find more survivors, you could move into a safer place, and the more people you have with you, the easier time you'll have. So take a pick:
