EPTI love Mariah Carey, pop-R&B is probably my favourite genre of music. She co-writes most of her songs (and I'm pretty sure it's not because she's too incompetent to write songs by herself, but rather because the record companies are always wanting her to change her songs to suit the mainstream better), and you can tell she's really someone who knows what it's like to be hurt!
5. We Belong Together - the song which reintroduced me to her music, heard it on the radio two years ago and it reminded me of someone I used to know who I shouldn't have given up on.
4. Hero - the first Mariah Carey song I ever heard, someone I knew who I really looked up to was being interviewed on the radio and she requested that they play this.
3. Always Be My Baby - a really cool pop song, the music video is great!
2. Butterfly - a song about how you gotta let people go sometimes, the lyrics are the best!
1. Through the Rain - this song always helps me be strong when I'm depressed : )
