So i just lost 7 in a row on iccup. jesus thats a bad feeling

time - 1030est - 1230 est

game 1 tau cross zvt - mess up my build a little, so decide to 9 ovy pool. I wander over to his base with my 9th drone to scout to find he's blocked the entrance with a depot. So i assume fast tech, 1 rax, 14 cc in base or something. i happily dance over with my lings looking for my first win of the night. I easily sneak in, start smashing guys in space suits, etc. Start lookin around, and he doesn't have any thing else besides the 1 cc and 2 depots. Turns out the lil shit proxy rax'd right next to my base, sends in ~12 rines and owns shit up. Fuck.
game 2 tau cross zvt same kid- i try a 2 hatch build. I have no idea why, i never 2 hatch zvt. Whatever. Turns out i suck hardcore with 2 hatch. I get run over by terran ball shortly after messing up fragile lurker/ling micro.
game 3 tau cross ( i like this map can you tell yet? ) same kid zvz - i 9 pool, he 12 pools. I contain him a little, try to expand, he massed lings the entire time off a hidden hatch, i get run over.
game 4 same thing zvz - i 12 pool, he 9's this time. sunken placement in my mineral line can't reach exractor. Why can't they put all those things on the fucking top or something? Anyway, he pumps lings and ends up pickin off a few drones with ling speed. He expands, keeps my exractor for a while, i don't see his expo till after he lairs. he pops some scourge, kills ~3 overlords and proceeds to pick off drones with some pretty nice muta micro. overall i go 0-4 vs this kid. 300 apm vs my 130ish just isn't fair =(
game 5 rh3 zvt - i open 3 hatch muta, he cc with one rax. i pick off a few scv, but run away shortly cus of lots of turrets. afterwards i realize this was retarded and ruins the point of opening mutas. oh well. long story short, terran ball 1 me 0.
game 6 - zvp tau cross - he fast expos, i 12 hatch expo 13 pool 14 hatch at another expo. go hydra with 1/1 ups, kill his gates at entrance. he puts out a few dt, but i figured this anyway and had speedlords to kill them quick. He masses cannons backed by a few ht, which prove too much for my hydra. I get hive tech, turns out he expo'd somehow (must've had a probe out already, i had his choke covered with hydra) i dont find out until too late aka mass cannons. i hive, he ht drops, dt drops, gay drops, i lose too many drones, and i find out there is now a new thing called the protoss ball. Fucking archons, and lots of em. My cracklings melt, and I don't have enough fatties to be effective. I type out after he runs over my base. GG
game 7 same thing, same kid - i 9 pool speedlings, he fast expos. first 2 cannons kill all my lings, ugh. I say fuck it, mass lings off 3 hatch, and run past with 3 groups. I get in his base easier then i thought, and wreck it. It wasn't even fair. I start massing drones at home and prepare myself for victory. Just to be safe i throw up a lair and hydra den, and proceed to expo. I was thinkin sunk/lurk/spore. As i turn to his expo with my lings, turns out he's got ~ 4 more cannons. My lings are trapped in his main. O well. I whore some more drones, get lurk tech, and start scouting. I was like "YES for once they didn't expo somewhere secret with mass cannons. I got this one in the bank easy. O shit, theres that one spot next to his base... Nah he couldn't put it up that fast." I send a little doggie over there and he proves me wrong. NP i fast hive and prepare for win. I don't even know what happened from there, but i guess i got a little greedy and overconfident. Long story short 30 drones and 2 sunks aren't really too good at killing stuff. 2 more mins and kid would've had like 700 ultra ling crammed down his throat. Ugh. Only i could find a way to screw that.
At least writing all that made me feel a little better.

I hate early season in ladders. Anyway, I need to practice my PvZ and I don't mind playing ICC. If you want lots of games then please pm me. I never sleep so anytime

Yeah, early season pretty much sucks. When I got to C- the only people that would play me were like 20-0 people and im like ugh -_-; I went from 13-1 to 20-9 lol.

Early season sucks, indeed.
Losing streaks like that are basically the most horrible thing that one could experience.
I go through such a loss of morale, it becomes really frustrating T.T

I just dropped 6 in a row last night, and after my first win with some random protoss newb i just called it a day a listened to some Metallica. Man it felt good...
Anyway goodluck , hope you'll get some better results tomorrow

Man, this is the complete opposite of me. After like 4 games I've had enough and log off. After 1 loss I immediately log off.

I went on a losing streak my first play through ICC. I went something like 0-6 with protoss(my main) ;(. Then, I tried using Terran and ended up winning a bit. I was like 3-3 stats with T. I tried Z to avoid TvP(I was shooken up by some 20-1 protoss) and got owned horribly with dt/sair ;(
I then reset my stats and went 3 game winning streak then 6 game losing streak. My record is 7-6 :/
Last season, I went 41-40 XD

don't worry about it, as you get better you'll start blowing through the people that beat you now
forget about the stats and focus on the improvement!

heh, when i used to ladder, id stop if i lost 3-4 in a row. thats usually a damn sure sign im on a cold streak

Last season I got something like 30-10 or something and C- (I believe I Was a win or two away from C). This season, I've been on many losing streaks, 5 games or so, and I have a losing record. Meh, happens, losses can pile up rather quickly.

The 2004 online preliminaries was the first competition I was involved in. I went 1-22-0.
The only I got from someone who checked my record during the game, and gave me the win because he felt so bad.
I hope you don't feel so bad about going 0-7 in one sitting anymore.
