Anyway, I watched the Liquid vs. Faze match, where you guys got destroyed 16-3.
My thoughts:
All of your T side strats are basically rushes. It looked to me like you were just hard rushing different areas of the map and getting mowed down.
I know you guys have good gun skill, but when their whole team knows where you are, it makes it a lot easier to defend... especially on a map like nuke.
I would consider taking a slower approach, Try using a default strat like this:
Send 3 outside (2 on the ground, 1 up high), and maybe consider having an awper on the high ground to clear some angles.
Send 2 lobby (1 watching hut/squeaky push, 1 spamming and establishing a presence towards ramp <- put your best point man/rifler here).
From here you have a lot of options:
1. Have the 3 outside guys meet up and push towards connector->upper, while the 2 inside players hit it from squeaky/hut.
2. Have the outside players wait, while the 2 inside players flash and clear out ramp, and push towards heaven. When you guys are ready, have the outside players push connector->upper while the 2 players from ramp flash and go up ladder.
3. Have the outside players push down towards lower, while the other 2 take ramp and pincer the players defending lower.
4. Have the outside players push towards heaven, while the 2 players inside hold and establish a presence in lobby. When ready, have the 2 players in lobby flash ramp, while the other 3 from outside pincer ramp room from under ladder/heaven. You can all group up for a lower rush, or go back to lobby and hit upper.
5. Have the outside players push towards heaven, while the guys in lobby establish a presence, then group up and hit upper together. (Maybe leave an outside lurker towards connector for a 2 heaven, 2 inside, 1 connector split)
There really are countless variations to this default. What makes it so difficult to defend, is the fact that until you guys decide where you want to attack, it really looks the same to your opponent...effectively putting the ball in your court, and your opponents on their heels.
You're welcome
