The trailer feels a little disjointed to me. At 0:52 it just skips from one part to the other, and the music cuts out only to begin again in a very different fashion. The dialogue and drawing seems good though. Good luck to her with the project.

I can't be arsed to try a game I know nothing about, gameplay trailer might be a good idea if there are other people like me, you know, lazy people that use the internet recreationally.

I'm sorry, but looking at the youtube video it looks like a flash game you would find on newgrounds 10 years ago.
I can only guess it is point and click? You didn't show any gameplay, so it's hard to say.
It's cool to be nice to your friend, but she needs more time and experience. No point in a patreon for this kind of learning project. Patreon is better for people who already have a well developed skill that is too niche for mass-market appeal. I think promotion is misplaced effort for people learning a new skill.
Hope she has fun working on her game  If she keeps at it, you can make another thread in a year ! There's just not enough here right now.

if (and hopefully "when") i produce a game, it'll be this sort of visual novel atmospheric style thing
the trailer was more compelling to me than any of this Mad Max , Bloodborne, Fallout 4 garbage , so take from that what you will. i'm sure in the minority, but i'm here
convincing people to fund you is a different story and requires something really substantial
shes doing the right thing by trying to get exposure as much as possible tho. people care about people as much as products (or they should)
