I can't say that I follow much sc outside of reading LR but I fondly remember first getting into bw... learning 2 gate so I could beat the zerg AI for the first time, learning to do more than turtle to 200, crowding the computer labs at lunch to play with friends, etc etc....
I think the bw scene is more alive than it's been for years and though I'm not involved or knowledgeable enough to partake usefully in the tls discussion I will look forward to the tourney regardless of what the decision is, and enjoy it as a spectator!

See, this whole thing, from start to finish, was a set-up. Sentinel and I were talking, and it became apparent to us that you had opened an Ashleymadison account and were cheating on the trinity. Of course, we had no proof until now - now, when you finally made your move into checkmate.
It was I who allowed the alliance to know the location of the shield generator, and I can assure you, it is quite safe from your pitiful little band. It was also I who talked to 2pacalypse, Scan and GGzerG and formed this plan. 2pac agreed to get TL to host the Teamliquid Legacy Cup, and Scan agreed to play. I told xkcd to 'protest' once some of the players got riled up, and that was the signal for GGzerG to post this blog. Why? Because I knew the Brood War people wouldn't know who you were, so they would get the idea that they were just being thanked randomly, and then to casually slip your name in there. From there, it was only a matter of time before you broke and tried to kick Sentinel from the trinity. Of course, I am 100% loyal to the balance of the trinity, and sacrifice at least one goat per week to Charles Darwin to appease him.

Seems like an unnecessary jab at xkcd considering all his pasts and future contributions can hardly be negated by one (somewhat provoked) rant.. agree with this. Leave the guy alone, he has been a great contributor in the past. Of course his blog was over the top, but at the same time, it wasn't all wrong, he did have some good insights.
