the trash compactor is completely fenced in with a locked door to prevent 'dumping' in the middle of the night. i was 14 and got fired after about 2.5 months. the manager was an asshole... so late one frozen January night where it was like -10F me and another guy who hated the manager staked out the place.... we waited for the manager to go to the trash compactor for the final time of the night . .ast like 1:30am. and we locked him in  | ||

Nice brag/troll. Hopefully the latter. Yes I know that is technically bearable temps. But. Jailbird is in for locking someone in a 5F freezer; that's warmer than -10. Parka probably in both situations I assume? If not all the more reason for you to reflect on your dumb luck. | ||

Not sure if you've done it before, but the thing about serving in a fancy place is (generally) you still get shit wages, but the tips are more frequent, because there are often bigger crowds/ larger parties/better turnover, as well as a lower % of dicks who tip nothing or near nothing, and they are generally larger, because people are more generous/have more money/want to impress their SOs. Some upscale places have really intense tip-pool policies also, so just be smart.
