The dark-inspired chill. It breaks the air,
Takes the breath and vanishes, as if it's never there.
Like freedom dreamed by the light of a lantern's dance
Leaves the haunting silence of a narrow path.
Who dug the voices no one knows
Said faith was weak until it's low.
Thoughts not swimming, rather drowning
Against breathes rarely spent shouting.
Restless only when I settle
In a world made of burned metal.
In a world that can't exist
Left lonely or you don't desist.
Discord lies, it doesn't give
Runs it's course and never lives.
The neon lies, it doesn't live
Runs it's course and never gives.
2. Fireworks & [It All Falls Apart]
Another echo in the well
Another phoenix, who never fell
You and me, like a eulogy
Of "Together Forever"
The dream lies, tossing and turning in sleep, restlessly
Imperfect words that'll leave me one day, breathlessly
After a dozen twilights, left in a house of glass
May these fireworks be the last
3. Heirless [Of Every Tale Tell'd]
In the blazing glory sent by lust
Driven, but the silence is a prophet
That foretells a lonely coffin
Coated in the metal shame we label rust
The only throne truly held
4. Wednesday [In Between]
Lyrics in the place of a eulogy
The legacy we leave
If there's a moral, it's worse to be naive
But sometimes it feels sweet, to fantasize about unity
A glimpse of perfection that always turns to obsession
A dance with devilish concepts over silhouetting shadows
The moonlight shines upon the dark, leads a heart to gallows
The pace quickens, the heart beats - progression
5. Thursday [When Nobody Cares]
My tombstone reads like bullet shells
Prayers becoming little empty wishing wells
My memorials are nothing but the silence
A grave marked only by the red flag of defiance
Or a grave marked by a flag of white after long years
When you realize the peers are useless, 'cause nobody really cares
And there's really nothing different
But somehow it feels different
6. The Sky's Ultimatum [When Everybody Cares]
Abandoned, the clock tower that dared strike midnight
Against a cloud-covered sky of all encroaching despair
And streets empty but from the presence of the air
A couple futile footsteps rang, foolishly thinking daylight
But the night stretches on forever
It simply never leaves until you dream of someplace better
Almost symbolic, like the frown that he wears, a certain scarlet letter
Thoughts crept, maybe it'd all be better if we were together
Praying, thinking, as if the sky's a fountain of youth
A million different whys and a dozen why nots- why not cry
For a moment it all broke, looked up and screamed to the sky
If you're a lie and life's a lie, then what is the truth?
The sky never responded, but another vagrant left a reply
"As if a palace could contain every harbored sorrow
As if a crown was the key to the gate of a thousand tomorrows
They always say a throne can change a man, but rarely for the better
Yet if destiny called you'd still be there, just another trend setter
All I live for is to see the basking of the morning sun
Because if not, man, I'm done"
7. & Fireworks [It All Comes Together]
May these fireworks be the last
The moment of celebration passed
Left with nothing but the echoes
A somber silence in the worn-out place of bellows
Sitting in the afterglow of dreams
Restless, left the 'love' to walk the streams
Left a grin with no reason against the enclosing dark
Not a word spoken, change has no spark
8. A Mosaic Made From Shattered Glass Houses [Maybe It's Not Hope]
Rain-soaked windows
Each rain drop a fallen love letter
Tossed aside and hand-written - "our dreams have come"
Then the sun rises, the jazz swells
Flying, the butterflies in my stomach, "Goodbye"
With a rain-ending 'Never'
The night sky will never die
The air tastes different here
