Random trivia topic: who is responsible for most frequently knocking out the reigning Code S champion from the next season?

(Special events like the KeSPA cup are not counted)

(Z)FruitDealer was the first champion, of 2010-Season 1 (hereafter abbreviated as 10.1).
(T)MarineKing knocked out (Z)FruitDealer in 10.2. (Z)NesTea won.
(T)TSL_Rain knocked out (Z)NesTea in 10.3. (P)MC won.

(T)Jinro knocked out (P)MC in 11.1. (T)Mvp won.
(Z)July knocked out (T)Mvp in 11.2. (P)MC won.
(T)Polt knocked out (P)MC in 11.3. (Z)NesTea won.
(T)TOP knocked out (Z)NesTea in 11.4 [Super Tournament]. (T)Polt won.
(T)Bomber knocked out (T)Polt in 11.5. (Z)NesTea won.
(T)Mvp knocked out (Z)NesTea in 11.6 and won.
(T)MMA knocked out (T)Mvp in 11.7 and won.
(P)Oz knocked out (T)MMA in 11.8. (T)jjakji won.

(P)PartinG knocked out (T)jjakji in 12.1. (Z)DongRaeGu won.
(T)TheStC and (T)TaeJa knocked out (Z)DongRaeGu in 12.2. (T)Mvp won.
(T)TaeJa (II) and (Z)viOLet knocked out (T)Mvp in 12.3. (P)Seed won.
(Z)Life and (Z)Symbol knocked out (P)Seed in 12.4. (Z)Life won.
(Z)Soulkey knocked out (Z)Life in 12.5. (Z)Sniper won.

(T)Bomber (II) and (T)GuMiho knocked out (Z)Sniper in 13.1. (Z)RorO won.
(T)INnoVation knocked (Z)RorO out in 13.2. (Z)Soulkey won.
(T)INnoVation (II) knocked out (Z)Soulkey in 13.3 [OSL]. (T)Maru won.
(P)Dear knocked out (T)Maru in 13.4 and won.

(T)Maru and (P)Zest knocked out (P)Dear in 14.1. (P)Zest won.
(Z)TRUE knocked out (P)Zest in 14.2. (P)Classic won.
(Z)EffOrt and (Z)Shine knocked out (P)Classic in 14.3. (T)INnoVation won.

(Z)Life (II) knocked out (T)INnoVation in 15.1. Tournament still ongoing.

The results? (T)TaeJa, (T)Bomber, (T)INnoVation, and (Z)Life are all tied for the most regicides, at 2 each. Congratulations, you revolutionaries!

Fun facts:
- There have been 25 kingslayers in the history of Code S (24 seasons, minus the first, minus the 4 repeat slayers, plus 6 times when the king lost to two players in the group stages).
- The racial breakup of kingslayers: 13 Terran, 8 Zerg, 4 Protoss.
- (T)Jinro is the only foreigner to slay the king. He knocked out (P)MC, a highly aggressive player, by going mech in a remarkable game on Scrap Station. Perhaps history will remember him as the Terminator (for going mech, assassinating the VIP, and having a foreign accent).
- (T)INnoVation the only player to have slain two kings back-to-back.
- (P)Dear knocked out (T)Maru in 13.4 and won the season. Maru, in an act of pure vengeance, knocked him out in the next season (14.1.), with the help of (P)Zest in the group stages. Zest ended up winning that season. Therefore, Zest might be remembered as "Revolver Ocelot" or "Littlefinger" for playing his enemies against each other
- Despite both being nicknamed "the Assassin", neither (P)Rain nor (P)herO have committed regicide in Code S. However, a different Rain ((T)TSL_Rain) is the first player in SC2 to have garnered widespread hatred for cheesing out the previous season's champion.
- 9 of the slayers are themselves former Code S champions ((T)Polt, (T)Mvp, (T)MMA, (Z)Life, (Z)Soulkey, (T)INnoVation, (P)Dear, (T)Maru, (P)Zest). Mvp, MMA, Life, Dear, and Zest pulled a MacBeth--won the same season they slayed the king. MMA's Code S victory over Mvp happened in the finals, which I suppose is sort of like slaying the king in his own throne room. There's a 20% chance that the player who knocks out the former champion will himself win.
- (T)Mvp is the only player who slayed a teammate reigning champion ((Z)NesTea).
- (P)NaNiwa is nicknamed "the Kingslayer" for defeating former GSL champions (T)Mvp and (Z)NesTea at the MLG Global Invitational in 2011. (However, at the time, MMA was the reigning champion.)

EDITS: Cleaned up some factual errors.

Cool, although I'm a bit disappointed no one killed a king three times
