. My little brother would play at high masters level. He played against some popular streamers or players . Lost mostly but won sometimes too . He was zerg. My interest started to go down just in the end days of wol when the zergs like Stephano and ST Life if u remember totally dominated . Then I played World of Warcraft for a year . Then when heart of the storm came out , i didn't feel like it and so i played like 2-3 games per 4 months something like that . Forgot about it sc2 pretty much in 2013 i can say . Used to watch all premiere tournamnets even during exams before. I remember when the MLG where SlayerSMMA defeated Losira in the finals . The one where Idra raged out in the series earlier against MMA in which he had chance. Anyway that day i was watching the tournamnet and in the morning i had a very important physics exam , The annual one. The exam went well but it were those times i couldn't let go of it . In 2014 i got the summer holidays . I actually spent all of the 3-4 months on hearthstone . To keep pace with the streamers and pros i had to spend the $$ on battlenet ( i cant believe i did it) I had to get the naxxaramus expansion . 40 packs + 40 packs + 20 packs and stuff like that . I never felt satisfied . My cousin was a bit annoyed since i used his MasterCard and he would be busy in other things
. Then my university started again and going currently . I just do the quests now and then in hearthstone.But i don't know how it has happened. Maybe that Legacy of the Void is announced at BlizzCon or something else . I have been playing hots at like 7-10 games per week and having a lot of fun . Just got to platinum league today and i am fine with it . It doesn't seem easy though after a long time.
I just watched the ForGG series vs Life in finals recently and i am super happy for him . Also i find Polt doing pretty good every year . He thinks he's not doing enough but its more than enough for his fans.
Doing the usual banshee opening for TvTs , reactor hellion opening for zerg and expo into stim medivac for protoss. ( still dont know the deal with the zealot stalker and mothership core , it gets me everytime it comes).
But having a lot of fun again . I don't regret missing out on starcraft 2 for a year and a half but it's cool to be back . Also following the hearthstone scene at the same time and doing well in university
.So that's it for my first blog ever. It had to be for starcraft 2 !
Also i would like to ask how many of you excited for Legacy of the Void?
