I played my last 5 games in a different manner than before.

Challenge:

1- No matter what role it is, I get to pick the fifth role, which nobody wants (I still warned my team not to let me get ADC and I would feed and lose us the game regardless of the amount of work I put in because I suck at playing ADC. People loved to take it from me though).
2- No flaming. Period. Not a single excuse-workaround for this one. No matter how bad they play, no matter how hard they flame (me, enemy team or each other, no difference), no matter how brick-headed they are and no matter how little of appreciation they show towards me, it doesn't matter. No flaming.
3- Never surrender. Period. If the opponent wants to win games, they have to take it by whatever force they have over the game.
4- If I get to criticize someone other than myself, it is in the form of "you did this and it is wrong because of these reasons, you had better do it this or that other way."

Results:

1- Kha'Zix jungle. Mid or(and) feed guy takes Yasuo in a team with zero knock-ups and proceeds to feed, we proceed to lose the game due to the enormous difference between midlaners.

The only time I get close to flaming was to our ADC Lucian who split-pushed toplane with no wards and no enemies on the minimap.

Me: "WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU EXPECTING"
Me: "Srsly dude, what were you expecting"
Dude: "Why are you asking that"
Me: "Wondering what were you thinking when you decided to split push with team having zero wards on the topside of the map and zero whereabouts of any of the enemy champions"
Dude: "Man I'm just a beginner, I didn't think it that way"
Me: "Think it that way next time. With an open nexus, they could just get into the base, force a 5v4 fight and win. But because they are beginners as well, they are not thinking it that way either"

It was close. This close. I almost flamed (not even almost for some people).

For what it matters though, I get 9x honored.

2- Kha'Zix jungle, nobody helps for my first blue, I proceed to get executed by blue buff.

Our ADC: "Jungle is impossible at this level you shithead" (My summoner level is 21)
Me: "But you still will ask for ganks a few minutes later, won't you?"

--- 3 minutes later ---

Our botlane feeds 8 kills combined into a Lucian (who is now 8-0-0) and started flaming me like mad men.

Me: "Because of the first blue, I'm still so behind in levels that Lucian would get triple kills instead of double kills if I come down to help"

--- 2 minutes later, finally level 6 ---

I went down to help botlane that just disengaged from a good fight, enemy adc and support are both 40% to 70% of our own adc and support, I gank the lane and they let me die and ask me why I fed. I asked why they didn't come in too OR ping me not to engage (our support was Sona who had her ult AND flash ready).

I voted no in like 7 surrender votes, telling my team that games are won and not lost and even if we were to lose, we were to do it like real men and we won't run like a bunch of pussies.

We proceed to lose, I somehow finish the game with a record of 15-8-3.

3- Kha'Zix MID this time (I don't know how nobody wanted mid but well...), against a Kata. Easiest lane possible. I beat her up into 3-0-0, ganked toplane in every opportunity and told my jungler to camp botlane. Finished 7-0-0, game ended before 20th minute.

4- Zilean support, easy game easy life.

5- Another Zilean support, I fed, we lost, bad game for all 5 of us, again no flaming. Not starting/voting for any surrender. Zilean is a better support for Lucian than Tristana.

Anyway, I want to know how many games I would last before calling my own role, flaming, surrender spamming or any other shit.

1 is something i do all the time regardless, i'll join and say "Anything but ADC" - when in reality i just suck shit at ADC and will (unwillingly) play it anyway if i have to.

2 is something everyone should be doing.

3 is meh, some games are just bullshit where you're down 20 kills to 3 and 5 towers and you're just wave clearing because the enemy cant push you for 20 minutes, i fucking hate people who refuse to surrender in lost situations like this SO MUCH. But generally games arent this lost anyway.

4 is just going to get people raging at you and you reported.

Also how in earth do you know you got 9x honors from a game. I smell some writers exaggeration.
Useless wet fish.

9x is writers exaggeration but I had more than 3 and if you execute 4 after the game, people can't report you because there is no evidence. You can only see in game chat in tribunal, which has nothing even remotely close to anything offensive.

And about 3: We won a game with only Nexus remaining. We were down like 30-35 kills and 8 towers. No game is lost until your nexus dies.

The thing about this 'challenge' is that it's like an alcoholic saying "I'm not going to drink anymore, but I'm still going to hang out at the bar with my drinking buddies."

So good luck.

Passive agressive remarks count as flaming too in my book. "What did you expect?" Is the same as "You suck ass noob"

There are games that are lost before the nexus dies, just not at a solo q level! :p

A nice idea, though. I've never really had a problem not flaming others in LoL because its so easy to just mute people who arent giving any good advice or constructive feedback, so I typically dont let myself get provoked. Good on you for taking some initiative to improve your gameplay experience.

That's why it's a challenge :D

In my defense, I was actually wondering if he was greedy or clueless. Turned out to be the latter. And I apologized him about lashing out too. We were on good terms and he's on my friend list, so that kinda makes it up.

I started a long time ago to just not say anything negative to my teammates, and in fact I try to be as supportive as possible. I feel like if your whole team has a good attitude you all perform better, and even if you lose it is still fun. The only time I ever flame anyone is if they are talking shit to my other teammates for no good reason. Not enough people understand that there are a lot of new players that don't actually know what they are supposed to do, and you can't yell at them for it. Just try to be a leader, communicate as much as possible (don't just go bot lane for a gank, actually ping and say "I'm coming bot to gank"), and treat everyone with the same level of respect that they treat you. I try to do this in all games I play with a team... dota 2, league, CSGO, starcraft, etc. I try not to tell people what they can do better unless they want my help. Most people will learn eventually what is smart and not smart, but helping someone who doesn't want it is never a good idea :3

Also I agree with Saechiis about being passive aggressive. The guy admitted to being new, so when someone says something like that you can in turn offer the advice of "When we can't see any of the enemy on the minimap we have to be really careful about where we go, especially alone. In this situation it's safer to stay by a tower or with teammates" And for the future BEFORE he gets himself killed, you can always ping and ask him to back up because it's not safe ^^

That was really not classy at all from me, I agree. I could handle that a lot better. Still got a lot to learn about it.

I'm not saying it was an awful thing for you to do, it's a completely normal reaction that a lot of people have. But in the case of him being a new player it will encourage him to keep playing the game and improve is people are nice to him So that's what I myself have been trying to achieve. I want the people I have on my team (and on the enemy team) to keep playing and not give up. It can be hard at times, but positive reinforcement and constructive (and friendly worded) feedback goes a HUGE way in helping these guys not only improve but have fun while doing it. I feel like what happens with most people is they go into a new game, everyone is incredibly rude, so then they start being rude, and it's a never ending cycle that leads to the toxic playerbase that we have all grown to know
