The rotten fish is called "surströmming" and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, at least not without plenty of seasoned snaps along with it :p OT: I would get your friend to bring some liquor, like Aquavit OP Anderson or Skåne, you can find it at "Systembolaget", the only stores in Sweden which sell beverages above 3,5% alcohol. Otherwise I guess the candy is nice | ||

I'm sure there are some great ones, but be weary, in college my swedish roommate purposely ambushed me with some of the most revolting "candy" I've ever had.
