I've been following Chanman Five since he was a young(?), somewhat awkward, nerdling with no opinions nor any aspirations to do evil. After this past week with Channelman outing ek0ps and Trumps lovestory on air and then breaking the american law on reddit, I think it's safe to say our favorite(only?) content producer has reached ESPORTS puberty.
Don't get me wrong, he still has ways to go. The apology came a bit too quickly and was slightly too honest, not quite worthy of a true ESPORTS veteran.
While you can blame his adorable inexperience in this area, his 17 minute vlog about his bravade might have been better suited once he reached the levels of scaming the community on pizzas or house tours, but lets be honest, who wasn't excited when we got to second base for the first time.
It is with pride I am seeing Channelman becoming a real man. As with all growing up, you also need to learn how to take it up the *** to satisfy your partners. That's where we come in. It is our duty to help guide this aspiring soul on the right path. In true spirit of the season, I suggest we follow the praxis set by larger organisations. A four month ban from all footballing activities including not setting his foot in a Starstriker lobby will suffice.
For Chanman!

I think Chanman, despite his unethical tactics, achieved what he wanted to achieve. So long as he keeps putting up respectable content, takes advantage of those opportunities to let him branch out into even more roles (like casting at events), he'll further his established trust and support from the community.
I don't really have an opinion on his blatant disregard for Reddit etiquette, It looks to be worth the trade-off (as far as we can see now).

I find it somewhat amusing that of all the things you can do on Reddit, messing with the upvotes is what really draws their ire.

I like Chanman's work as well, and he did what he had to in order to get his name out there. He has helped, believe it or not, all members of the community, myself as well.
