I don't like playing against protoss because as a silver league terran, I lack the micro needed to defeat a deathball consisting of templar and colossi. I just don't have the skill. I do find it a bit dishonest that I have to micro my heart out whereas the Protoss player just has to a-move his army and cast some storms. The game may be balanced for people in masters and up, but for lower-tier players it definitely is not, and it kind of takes away a lot of the fun. It has nothing to with "get better". Protoss is just easier to play in the lower leagues. | ||

Loosen up and have fun. +1 i have 3 accounts and play all 3 races and sometimes play as random. over the past 6 months i've ranked as low as #1 gold and as high as #1 diamond. usually my Zerg account gives me the best ranking and Terran my lowest rank. but, i have the most fun with my Terran account. unless you're in the top 100 of the GM league its not worth it to get all worked up about these balance issues. i probably have the most fun with my platinum league account. i can play around a bit and have some fun. my diamond account(s) feel too much like work.... just play the games and enjoy the explosions guys. 1 thing i like to do is get an economic lead on my opponent and then build the worst army possible against what they have in their army. sometimes doing this i lose games i might otherwise win, but i've already got a job... i don't need another one. its fun watching 38738974 zerglings take down 50 blue flame hellions. | ||
