Just a short review since I am hitting bed soon and probably don't have the time and effort to type out a longggggg review :D
Does it work? I am sure a lot of people are wondering about this and probably the only thing they care about.
In my case, it is working.
I get dry eyed pretty easily due to me being stupid and probably killed my eyes during my intense gaming sessions in the dark that went for months. And it really shows when I started working and also had to sit through hours of computer screen.
While I still get dry eyes, I no longer get them nearly as often. I have used the software f.lux but it didn't really help all that much. I can't promise it is going to be the same for all of you though.
Another feature that I find most overlooked is the amazing fitting. somehow my glasses never sit tight and always slip down, but the gunnar glasses (mine is a wi five) fits really nice and tight.
Lastly the best feature imo, is the "zoom" they call it "fRACTYL" basically you don't have to sit as close as the monitor to see just as much. It's amazing because one problem I had was sitting closer and closer to the monitor as my eyes get tired and this doesn't happen anymore.
What's bad about it? it can get really pricey if you want to have prescript lens. For me, the price of the glasses without the prescript lens is acceptable but definitly still hurt the wallet quite a bit.
And secondly, for a glasses that only "can" be used for facing electronics, it is once again, very pricey. Why you can't use it outdoor like a normal glasses is because of that zoom feature. It makes objects in a long distance blurrier than you not wearing glasses
thirdly, what works for me might not be for you.
Also Shoutout to Catz! somehow when I was uncertain to drop that cash, a pic of him wearing his on stream was the deciding factor :p
now I am happy to have better eyes and supporting Esport in a way :D

I have always thought of getting them but can't bring myself to drop the cash on them. I'd rather put the funds towards another keyboard if I am going to buy a new peripheral. Glad you're liking them though, as a substitute I use F.lux which essentially tints your screen to a similar color as Gunnars; it makes it so it is less like you are staring into a light bulb for x hours a day.

I totally can understand, I actually have no idea why f.lux didn't have the same effect as the gunnar.
I am thinking maybe it's the color and the zoom in feature working together?
Anyhow my company won't let me install unauthorized software, so dropping them cash is worth it for me.
The yellow lens is a bit too fancy though haha

Corporate policies can suck, getting mine to provide me with an ergonomic keyboard was like squeezing blood from a stone. Glad they are working for you.

I used f.lux before buying my own Gunnar, and i think the Gunnars works much better
I recently switched from glasses to contact lenses, and was suffering heavely from dry eyes and f.lux did nothing for me,
whereas with the gunnars it have really helped, i also think f.lux sometimes gets too yellow where the gunnars isnt, i also dont mind wearing them around the house since you can barely feel them and dont really notice that you have them on, until you take them off and squint because everything is suddenly so bright.

You can adjust the intensity of the yellow effect by changing the Hz in the options.

Correct, but i still felt that the overall colours was too yellow, with the glasses its kinda..clearer i guess, it cant really be described.
I think they are really a buy em and try em, if you dont like it return em, because its really hard to explain.

they are equivalent to 10 dollar shooting glasses you can buy at a sporting goods store.

Because You have ofcourse tried both and therefore is right now writing a longer post detailing why shooting glasses and gunnar glasses are made of the excact same materials, i thank you and await your post.

i have tried both. they do the same exact thing in terms of influencing contrast. it could be made out of fucking dried unicorn blood mixed with unobtainium for all i care, it doesn't make them worth it compared to close substitutes.
if you want to play that game though, the shooting glasses were ballistic, and would defeat a small fragment going at about 650 feet per second.

How do they hold up vs. fluid projectiles?

For my case it seems to be: Eyes drying into Blurry vision into Sitting closer to monitor
And the glasses zoom out feature let me sit further away and my eyes just get less tiring and I have a much better sitting posture
