EPTFor those of you who don't know myself, I have been an avid Starcraft II fan since 2010, having the opportunity to attend such event as MLG Providence in 2011, and attending the NASL finals held in Canada. I also produced the Starcraft II Dubstep Mix "ITS A RETARD MAGNET". I founded OMW Productions shortly thereafter, focusing primarily on producing music with a few young up and coming artists, but I have always tried to figure out way to be able to branch out to make content for the SCII community. I had written a few articles for SCII, and produced a promo video for WCS NA.
With the ability to add more to my schedule as I am finishing my education this April, I was thinking of expanding my company to include Media Solutions for the competitive SCII scene. This would include videos, and possibly articles with event specifics. I figured there was a large gap in the amount of media content that teams and events produced for the community. We would provide promotional material before and during events, give a series of fun related content for events (focusing on more minor events), while also creating post-event media content. I noticed that the GSL has experimented with increasing the content with Wolf's prediction videos, and I was wondering if you all felt there was this need for it as I saw?
If you guys think this idea could be viable for the SCII community, what sort of videos do you want to see from events or teams? With EG's "Unborrowed" and "The Extended Series" I felt that the scene is slowly developing in the right direction, but I think we could be doing more, as we mostly limit content to VODs of games, and interviews with players. Root has also been filling in some need with the different content that CatZ puts together.
So please let me know what sort of content you would like to see, and I'll do my best to make it all happen!
