So I was checking the 'unusual articles' page on Wikipedia and something really, really cool captured my attention. Do you remember the Mutalisk picture?
This parasite enters fish through the gills, and then attaches itself at the base of the fish's tongue. The female attaches to the tongue and the male attaches on the gill arches beneath and behind the female [...] The parasite destroys the fish's tongue, and then attaches itself to the stub of what was once its tongue and becomes the fish's new tongue.

I read or heard about this somewhere. Oh nature, you crazy.
Holy shit, I'm sure glad that fishes don't see parasites in the same ways that we do. YICK
Yeah but do the fish stack?
As long as the fish ends up with some kind of tongue it should be fine :D
Now I have two disturbing images in my head, getting one's balls crushed and a fish's tongue being replaced by a disgusting parasite. ARGH

it would be cool if they were friends
then you could have your friend who would live in your mouth and you would never be lonely
