Gentlemen, children, and attractive women of all ages! It's that time of year again! No, not your prostate exam. It's your chance to win a bunch of free games! Before delving into what is available I'd like to provide some backstory to this.
For the 2010 holidays I gave out 39 copies of various games to the TL community.
For the 2012 holidays I gave out 19 copies of various games, most donated by the TL community. While the number of games was less, the over all value of the games was well over the $100 mark - much higher than in 2010.
This year I have decided to do things a bit differently. Instead of topping the quantity or the value I am going to attempt to put BOTH to shame!
This year a fellow TL member named lichter decided to hold a popularity contest. Why? I can only assume because he wasn't hugged enough as a child. But who am I to judge? No... instead I supported his contest 100% - by winning a spot in it. What does this have to do with this giveaway? Well I'm glad you asked!

Woah! A pot! Charity! What's going on here!?! It's quite simple;
The Pot
- For every round I make it through in lichters tournament the pot will increase by $50 (you may vote for me here)
- Prizes will be given out in $5 increments
- Prizes are paid in cash via whatever method the winner chooses; paypal, Steam gifts, TL+ membership, etc
- The Pot will also include any gifts donated by fellow TLers as well as various games that I have laying around. Don't worry, if I lose in round one there will still be goodies - just not nearly as much!
The Charity
- For every person that posts "TEAM JAI" in lichters tournament propaganda thread OR Torenhire's desperate blog I will add $1 to The Charity
- The Charity is independent of The Pot and as such you can post in one of the above threads even if you don't actually vote for me
- A poll will be held to determine where the money goes
In short, if I lose in the first round the giveaway is going to be fairly small this year. On the other hand, if I win the entire tournament then this giveaway will be larger than all of my previous giveaways combined, including game-specific ones.
As usual this is a no-skill-required contest. Everyone has an equal chance of winning. To enter, simply follow the rules mentioned above and post a reply in this thread.
