You did fine, not much people did better then you in this position. If you look at the top 10/20 SC2 foreign teams, most of them if not all of them, are multi-gaming teams that exist for years.. I don't think any team besides Axiom doesn't have more then 5/6 years or they have a very strong sponsor backing like Acer. It's really hard to create something from scratch and have success and it's even harder do keep up there with the best year after year! GG take care of yourself

Many thanks to all of our friends and fans that supported us and cheered us on, we couldn't have done it without you! And of course a million thanks to Jingna for putting so much of your time and energy into the team, really hope to keep seeing you at future events! Thank you so much for all your hardwork!!! Victor would bring you guys up occasionally as an example of how to behave when we whined about some kind of condition being unfavorable (I forget which event but I remember someone complaining about hotel situation and he brought up you guys all sharing a room and his old brontosaurus days of sleeping on a LAN floor etc). Best of luck moving forward, although with your level of talent I dont suppose you will need too much of it (not that you can really ever have too much I guess). Hahaha aww Victor. I love him. Gotta do what you gotta do when short on money I guess. Honestly it's probably the only times I've slept on hotel floors, but it was so worth it taking care of the players XD Yes more luck never hurt, thanks!! =D =D On November 15 2013 02:44 Balgrog wrote: Hey man, you gave it your all on trying to reach a dream, very few people can honestly say that! Infinity Seven was a great team, and one of the best in NA, there's no doubt about that. I wish circumstances had been slightly more fortuitous for the team, but the team did an excellent job. (I had to write "lost to (x) korean" every time I talked about someone getting knocked out of a tournament, they didn't seem to lose to anyone else) Jingna I want to thank you for creating the team and environment that not only gave me an underdog to root for constantly, but also to get to interact with such amazing people. -SunnY

Getting to pay close attention to the team and see behind the doors a bit really reinforced my opinion that they were filled with top level talent and were overall a great team. The staff for the past year or so has tried so hard to hold on to the team and build it up even as the North American scene itself seems to crumble away, while the end result is heartbreaking in my short and limited exposure to the team I met some great people and had a lot of fun. I remember my first MLG Anaheim with the team, still wondering if Infinity Seven instead of oTL (as the clan channel was back then) was a name I could go along with (it grew on me) ... trying to do dates on it, I think it was MLG Anaheim 2011. I am really terrible with dates. I was posting to iS's twitter all the players advancing, cheering on Edge and daisuki. I was also posting on liquipedia and liquipedia irc trying to make sense of MLG's shifting tournament brackets and the "Open Brackets" who was advancing and what notable Koreans were doing. Trying to recharge the phone that kept on draining. Hanging with shindigs and GHOSTCLAW. You just can't ever replace those memories, they will remain. Even if Hot Bid only knows you as "I S GUY" in mafia. (And, let the record show, Team Krukar did lose that mafia round to the town. Infinity Seven victorious). Driving around jingna, jecho, adam, owmygroin and edge in my beat up Explorer ... then Axslav and Pyre the next year. eSports on California freeways at 10pm 11pm. The one trip to Santa Monica as well. I can't really remember a better team that liked to talk about esports, gaming, and life. There was never a dull moment (Apart from some of the downtime at NASL 1 & 2 ... Ontario aint a happening place). Then, work got a lot tougher and I couldn't maintain commitments to updates or social media and had to back down from all the promises made then. Even as iS continued and grew, I had to fade away. I guess that last vignette was the barbecue at ttoss's place with all the guys, and watching Prometheus together. Whittier eSports. And DANG, Richard does some mean pork ribs with all the fixings. We even had then-Quantic Apocalypse and theognis for that one. You only get to know gamers during the downtime. The peaks of eSports are the sheer fervor of the volunteer efforts to organize players, events, sponsors, and the rest. Creativity in the "young people" 16-35 crowd (generalizing) propelling efforts forward with great force. The valleys are when you have to say goodbye to a team you had a connection to. The connection happened by chance when Battle.net 2.0's introduced chat channels (Protoss Strategy Pubchat Represent!) and oTL separate channel. I don't want to drone on about my personal experiences in SC2 eSports, so I'll end it here. It was a pleasure hanging with and helping Infinity Seven, and I'm thankful for the experiences oTLJinn.

P.S. Jingna was honestly worried about no one caring about iS disbanding when she was drafting up her blog. Thanks again for all the support!

You've always been a source of inspiration for me as someone who wants to be an artist and a contributor to the SC2 scene. Shooting for Harper's Bazaar and Picture, just wow! I only hope I can meet you one day and hear all your experiences as a photographer. <3 + Show Spoiler + I thought I saw you at IEM New York behind the player lounge but it turned out to be just some other photographer. @_@

Thanks for all of the positive support, it means a lot to everyone involved with the team in these past few years. I know Jingna and I both had a lot of regrets and feelings of shortcomings with the organization. Her battling through her problems and me having to leave the team high and dry because of medical school. However, these posts have really put things into a bit of perspective (even if some of them have been a bit exaggerated to be nice haha). P.S. You organized an entire organization from scratch and guided it into a notable force within the NA scene. That's pretty damn remarkable considering the lack of former BW pros, long history, or boatloads of money. I'll never forget watching Crazymoving's amazing run at MLG and realizing I was watching a rising star in action (if only things coincided better for him...). Even if everything fell apart at the end it was a brave risk to take. Never be ashamed of that. Only makes me admire my mother more for how far she managed to push myself and my teammates as shooters from zero too. It was a great experience. I was lucky enough to meet you in the oTL days in game and then in Singapore once for lunch. I always followed your team and even though I had/have nothing to do with you guys I'd feel proud during your team wins and watching iS on Gomtv was Crazy awesome. If you're back in Singapore, I hope that we can grab a drink (I'm the vodka guy) and I'll buy you some of my booze. Anyway, like many I'm sad to see iS go. I do know that you'll move on to impact the world in other ways.
