Holy shit, it's been a long time since Ive posted. WARNING: LOTS OF IMAGES INCOMING Ive been working on lots of stuff, but mostly things I cant show  Here's a summary of my life until now:
1) Launched a game and made an illustraton for it!

4)Also, went to GDC and met the Tornado twins. Im a triplet on the right xD Super nice guys! Also worked on a game, but couldnt get a deal on it Cant find screenshots. Posting old concept art

5) Designed a game in 48 hours with my bro. LOTS of art had to be done that weekend. WORTH

i really love your style. what you would recommend to a newbie like me on how to get started? do you often do studies of other works? are there any techniques you practice everyday?

Just draw when you can, copy stuff (dont trace) and then draw what you copied from memory, that helps alot to get a mental library of stuff you can draw Draw every day if possible!

I absolutely love your enviromental/atmospheric speedpaints, such as this one: link.
Frankly, most of your other works -while obviously high quality- don't really make me do double takes, they are too... particular and functional to captivate my mind. But somehow the subtle and natural charm of these simple speedpaints I find mesmerizing.
They always inspire me to try some visual arts myself, which I always give on up soon after realizing I suck at it. (The harsh contrast between my imagination and actual results is particularly disheartening) That is, until your next blog comes around

538: I totally agree. Speedpaints have their interest in that they are gestual, can have lots of movement, and make the spectator fill in the details, as opposed to the other paintings were everything is laid out to you.
