As Rock lay on front steps, guarding intently, Rock notice shady neighbor John setting lawn ablaze.
“Is Monday already?” Rock ask. Asshopper run out from lawn on fire.
“Hello Asshopper.” Rock say.
“Hello Rock.” Asshopper respond. “How was day?”
“Quite well.” Rock say. “And you?”
“Burning!” Asshopper joke, but die soon afterwards from the melting.
“Rock don’t get it!” Rock say to ash pile.
Suddenly earthquake!
Rock fly off front steps with power (and sunglasses) and land in dandelion weed forest.
“Wrong weed!” Rock complain. Dandelions apologize. Rock begin look for different weed forest, but lost! After minutes of search, Rock end up back where started.
“Rock going in circles!” Rock say. Rock look down.
“Also legs broken!”
Rock start worrying. “What if nobody find Rock? What if Rock never see family again?” But then Rock remember all family is dead, so not sad anymore.
Suddenly, Asshopper burst through blades of grass, guns blazing!
“Rock!” Asshopper say. “I am save you!” But too late because already dead. Grass had stabbed Asshopper with blades.
“Noooooo!” Rock say. “Asshopper best friend!” Rock sheds tear. But magical tear that brings back to life. Asshopper steals tear and revives.
“Rock!” Asshopper cry. “You save me!” But celebration cut short by gangster ladybug driveby.
As Rock mourn death of Asshopper again, crazy neighbor Jeff put out fire with sprinkler and shake fist at shady neighbor John, hiding behind tree. Crazy neighbor Jeff grab Rock and put back front doorstep, next to Asshopper.
“Asshopper, you alive!” Rock say. Asshopper look at Rock with smile and laugh.
“Is because ladybug can’t driveby!”

This is the greatest thing I have ever read.
I find that the character development of Rock is truly a marvel. It just goes to show that Friendship is what matters most.
