EPTNow, you might be thinking "Well, that's not really a ton..." or "Congratulations, but exactly how is that a feat?", and I guess both of those questions are quite fair. It isn't by any stretch a great amount nor something to boast of, but to me, someone whose music has been alive for most of my life only inside myself, the knowledge that a thousand times, someone sat down and heard a piece of mine, that knowledge is incredible.
Making music is something I do, because I honestly think that what I hear and play might give other people something special - a feeling or a thought or security or soothing moment, I do not know.
Knowing that someone in this world listened to my music really makes me happy, and while a thousand might not be a lot, who knows what'll happen in the coming years? Maybe I'll reach two thousand in half a year - maybe much sooner than expected! Either way, today marks a special day, and one I'll forever remember, due to blogging it here.
To the few TL'ers who heard the number I posted previous, a TON of thanks! And to those same people and everyone else, I hope you do not belittle even the smallest achievements you accomplish!
