Since I don't have a worthwhile replay to write a battle report about today, I guess I'll just recap some thoughts I had about how I should change my mindset going into a more normal game play style.
-Pressure with gateway units. I didn't do this before because i was the one being greedy, but against 3base zergs I guess that I kind of have to try to force out some units with light pressure. MSC can make this pressure relatively safe for me as well.
-Use of forcefields during said pressure... that's gonna be tricky for me, I don't know if I can use them well enough. I'm not completely incompetent with them though, so maybe I can get by.
-FFE or Gateway... I'm thinking that I might go for some FFE again, but either way I'll try to find a good build that opens with phoenix. I really want to have a first line of defense against surprise mutalisks, and phoenixes also will help with scouting.
-Bases, when to get them. This I'm still unsure about, maybe around 10 minutes is a fairly average time i should get it? I'll have to figure that out later.
My mind is boggled so that's all I can think of for now, if you'd like to give some advice PLEASE don't hesitate to post some. Tomorrow may be another day of non-laddering and practicing PvZ, or it might be a day of no SC at all due to some after school shit I have to do.
