The place that I'm at is Cedar City, Utah. The only real reason we're here is because my mom is taking classes for some sort of teacher credit things... the event she's at is the ShakeSpear Festival. For having a family that's all about the arts, I don't like the arts. I probably will have to watch a few plays but I'm probably going to end up sleeping through them even if I try to actually stay awake .
But anyways, I guess that there's still something that I can kinda-sorta enjoy around here, and it's the national parks. We're close enough to quite a few so I believe that I'll be visiting those. Today I went to Bryce Canyon national park. Woo!
I was going to put an image of the canyon here but all the pictures are too high quality and so they don't fit lol.
Most of these national parks really are amazing... just think about all the millions of years it took for the river to cut away and make things like the Grand Canyon and shit. Big stuff. Too big. The only down side about national parks in the west (for me) is that I'm so used to all of the deserty areas that they don't seem so majestic as they would to others. If anything, I'd like to visit Red Wood national park and see dem bigass trees.
Uh... nothing much to write about today. Just felt like I'd might as well write some stuff since I was bored.
In God we trust. Also Dinosaur-Jesus.
