hellbats hellbats hellbats. I haven't got the grasp how to deal with them yet, or I know how but never manage to pull of the execution. If I manage to survive to midgame, I'm unable to make any significant attacks vs. meching player no matter what style I play. It's frustrating as hell, so I feel for the protoss and zergs who struggle with them too.
I haven't tried to play hellbat drops much myself, only couple of times where I lost due to drops not making significant damage or enemy just disregarded the damage and all-inned to weak defenses. It feels too gimmicky.
I'm pretty confident in other two matchups and hoping that I could get TvT to 50ish%, so I could be promoted back to masters.

Have same problem, the only solution for this situation is either to wait till the nerf come out or just hellbat drop on ladder as hard as your opponents

I used to lose 100% of my PvPs (a result of only 4gating and not knowing what actually happened in the matchup). Eventually I just picked a standardish build and massgamed to figure out what it beat, what beat it, how to adapt, and basically build my nonexistent gamesense.
All you can do is work at it - best thing is to find a friend to play repeatedly with so you can play against the same build repeatedly.

I have a 83% win rate in TvT this season playing bio vs Hellbat mech in mid-high masters, so it's definitely possible you just have to keep trying!

From my experience, Hellbats don't really bother me that much, ZvT is probably my best matchup. When you are suspecting a drop, build a Spore and a Spine in each mineral line, when the Medivac goes in pull the drones ASAP and bring some army to suround the Medivacless Hellbats. EDIT: lol I thought you were a Zerg player :p

Hmm, for the early game I recommend building a bunker behind your mineral line(s) the instant you feel like hellbat drops might be incoming (for example, if you scan and see naked/reactored starport plus reactored factory); it isn't a massive investment really. Assuming you go 12 rax, 13 gas, I recommend a viking after medivac from the starport as well. Do not commit to heavy frontal attacks, play passive and expand, because he may be able to fly his hellbats and drop them on top of your army if he has a high medivac count, and that will kill your shit pretty quickly. Focus on drop play and harassing him yourself while getting production and upgrades.
