One of my purposes behind blogging, other than having an effective medium to get my ideas out and about, is to write more. I like Day[9]’s methodology and thought process behind getting better at something, and that is just doing it. Writing is obviously no exception to this rule so that is my main goal behind this blog. In high school I was writing practically everyday due to the assignments I had but now as an engineer, computer science guy I really don’t have to do this anymore. So I’m going to start trying to post stories on this like once a week in combination with normal blogging about my life and thoughts. So to start with the story thing I’m going to include a story that I wrote in high school at the end of this.
All right so for some requested information from a comment by WarSame from the last blog. I currently don’t play any sports or partake in any real physical activity besides Frisbee or basketball when some of my friends want to play. Before though I played soccer and basketball for my high school varsity team and also played indoor soccer for a travel team. I am easily better at basketball then any of the other sports that I have played so that would be the hardest for me to give up. It has been that sport that I played since a child and a lot of great memories come from it. As for my social life I want to bring in that exploration for another blog once I have gotten more used to this style of writing, sorry ☹.
Just a heads up I will not be able to spend as much time as I did on this story so they may not start out as solid as this one. It will be a process and hopefully you guys can see a solid transformation in my writing as time goes on!
