I'm MaZe from team Maegis, I'm 15 years old as of now, a Master league Zerg player and live in the Netherlands, and I love being busy with esports, whether that's improving, just having fun, casting, watching tournaments, watching streams, giving/receiving feedback, etc. I've recently started casting because I talk really easily (that's what people tell me). That's mainly why I'm giving it a shot. I've made a youtube channel for just this, because I want to put myself out there. I really love talking about a game, or about players, or about starcraft in general. And personally, I'm really loving casting as well. I've also done a couple of duo-casts.
Now I'd really love some constructive (both negative and positive, either's fine) feedback on what I'm doing wrong/right/should keep improving because I'm not sure where to start. I know just practicing it helps, but I'd like to get into specifics, what I'd need to work on etcetera. I've recently uploaded one of my casts, and will link it in the bottom of this post. Now, a few questions:
Should I keep uploading to youtube to atleast start off with?
Does my voice/accent interfere with the casting?
Should I start by trying to get a (small) following?
Now it is up to you to tell me whether you like/dislike my casts, why, what there is to improve etcetera! Let it all out, I'd love to hear it all. I'd already really appreciate it if you just skim through it quickly, see some mistakes and write them down. Everything can come in handy.
If you happen to also have any high level replays, send them to me and I might cast them if wanted! (using PM of course!) Would give me more resources to work with aswell!
Either way, here's the video!:
