I learned a lot from that video, and the main thing was to just keep at it and learn from my mistakes. Initially, I just wanted to stop making videos even though I enjoyed it a lot, but my friend pushed me to keep making them and not give up. By learning about the flaws in my gameplay, I was able to improve myself and finally able to produce a video and rating that I was proud of....eventually. Persistence is important in everything and so is practice! I think that I'll just keep at it until this year is over. I don't think that I'll make these entries daily though, maybe weekly.
So I guess what I'm trying to say here is:
Getting a very poor review is a great part about learning, just like everything else that doesn't go well. Losing a game in SCII, getting dumped by the girl you love, and even failing a class all can make a person grow. It's been said before, but a person learns the most from their mistakes. Understanding what didn't go right, and what can be done to fix it is a valuable skill that everyone needs. I don't consider making this blog a mistake, but I do think that I could have put more thought into my initial post, so I'll just have to keep at it as well.
In today's Starcraft practice though:
I lost a few games, won a few games, but I was able to get my lazy ass off imgur and reddit and practice some games even though I had school for like 10 hours. (although practicing when I have two mid/terms tomorrow probably wasn't the smartest idea.... In retrospect making this blog entry right now isn't the best idea either... oh god I need to study)
