We have our own subforum already, which is more than can be said for the countless other competitive games out there.. We also have some great writers and contributors in said subforum. If you still want to see more LoL content on this site, why not consider trying your hand at creating some? Whether you would like to write some articles, create champion guides, review events, organize tournaments, or whatever takes your fancy, there's nothing stopping you.

As Kiante said, coverage doesn't pop out of midair. It's written by the very people who want to see coverage. People just like yourself.

Just because I don't currently prefer the main game here, doesn't mean there can't be a larger portion of this site dedicated to League.

You may see this as an addition of content, but what your actually asking for is a change in the focus of the site. Not that I am any less guilty of that state of mind. While I love to watch broodwar, I will never be able to play worth a damn because it's so difficult. If team liquid didn't cover Starcraft 2, I would be here a lot less.

There is plenty of work to be done on the TL LoL subforum, and I really don't think that the fact that our LoL community isn't as massive and especially as annoyingly immature as Reddit's is, is not a bad thing. I'll be honest here, when the BW era of TL ws around, TL was a smaller place. When SC2 came around, it grew massively compared to what it was. When DotA2 got its own forum, TL grew again, but all this growth isn't necessarily something amazing. We don't want to lose the feel that TL has, the feel of being in a forum with SMART people, who don't get away with saying absolute crap. I don't want TL to turn into reddit, and I really don't want it to turn into the LoL subreddit. That said, I want LoL to expand on TL past a subforum, but I don't want a massive influx of reddit people coming in and saying +1 constantly.

The main community site for LoL seems to be reddit. But there are a few news sites that have pretty good coverage. They don't usually have a lot of discussion since everything just takes place in the reddit post.

http://esportcalendar.com/ is a good equivalent for TL's calendar.
http://ggchronicle.com/ has some news and analysis. Started by OGN caster ggMonteCristo
http://www.newsoflegends.com/ is linked with solomid.net so they get some traffic.
http://www.surrenderat20.net/ is known more for their data mining of the beta servers but they also do some news.

TL is good for coverage of major tournaments but not too much on news. A few people have worked on a few smaller tournaments but it's never certain which ones are done. You are always welcome to forum 65 to take a look at what we are doing.

You... don't feel like part of the community because you feel that your game is entitled to more exposure and adoration from TL? Even though there's a LoL sub-forum? Really? Get that entitled shit out of here. The sub-forums are amazing places and communities within their own rights. The LoL sub-forum seems like an amazing place, just like the TLMafia sub-forum, DotA sub-forum, etc. Hell, even the monstrous threads on TL have their own community. Think about how cramped that must be... The K-pop thread has 4k+ PAGES of posts, and I'd say they're a wonderfully tight community and definitely no "outcasts." If you think you're not part of one, either you don't participate enough or you need to reexamine what you're looking for in a community.
