EPTHad our Fencing Club party last night. I don't normally do parties, as I've always assumed there's heavy drinking involved (among other uncouth behaviors... ('¬_¬) ) and I can only laugh at drunks for ~10 minutes before it becomes sad and I start to pity them. Oh. The fact that I don't drink doesn't aid my cause at all, lol.
Fencing Club's different, though. I know the members personally, and though they get rowdy at times, I can trust them to not turn a good time into a bad time. Brought my Magic cards in case anyone else had a deck or two to play against. I'm always up for casual Magic.
Surprisingly, I got the privilege to teach some interested fencers how to play the game! Unsurprisingly, no one else had cards, so we all used my four decks.... While the Pres. and three others complained about "raping" each other "from behind" in their politics-heavy game of Risk, and another group playing round after round of Super Smash Bros. (Brawl, if you must know, lol), I played a crazy 7-person game of Munchkin (we usually play a lot of Munchkin at these events too 
), and then two long, 4-player free-for-alls of Magic: The Gathering. Goodness, I was there for over 10 hours; started at 6:30 and I didn't leave till past 4 A.M. >_<'One's running my mono-Blue Artifact deck, nothing but equipment, tools, and artifact creatures. Another learns to love my Black-Green Infect, sitting back, waiting for the dust to clear, then smashing face with Putrefax after Putrefax. And the last one, the only girl of the group, plays the Red-Blue Burn deck, aimed at just combo'ing tons of direct damage to others' life. And me? I've got my signature Red-White-Blue All-American Con-TROLLOLOL!! >:-D
Manage to toss out Luminarch Ascension and get 3 angels before Mr. Infect Naturalizes it. I swing at him a couple times because I'm not to pleased with that, but Ms. Burn decides to swing with 22/2 Kiln Fiends after pumping them with a frick-ton-bunch of spells. So I have to board-wipe with False Prophet. Lol, it even gets Imprinted on my Mimic Vat. X-D This is good, however, because I don't like Mr. Infect recurring his Putrefaxes or Mr. Artifact tutoring for Blightsteel Collosus or Platinum Angel.
Over the course of 5 turns, I get 9 Poison counters and NO LANDS. I wanna play my Gisela so baaaaaad!!... T_T *sob* Have to Condemn another Putrefax (SO glad I listened to my brothers about incorporating that one into the deck...) before I can toss out Isperia, have Mr. Artifact ping me, let me draw a card, THE LAND THAT I NEED, and finally drop the bomb that is Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. :-D
Swinging for 12 every turn, I make Mr. Infect scoop and backstab Mr. Artifact soon after, leaving Ms. Burn and I to settle our score....
All this time, naturally, she's just been placing land upon land upon land, waiting for a Pyromancer Ascension and some more burn spells. To summarize what happens, a bunch of spells are played, she gets tons of mana, starts copying instants and sorceries, and before I know it, she finishes my last 2 life off with a doubled Comet Storm for 1 damage apiece. I mean,... it worked. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The second game? Best part about that was Mr. Infect killed me with my own Bazaar Trader. After I traded it to him. Targeting itself. To get more card-draw from Zedruu, lol. My deck works in wonky, mysterious ways.... X-D Ms. Burn won that game too, actually. Needless to say, it got them all interested in the game. Probably won't go out and spend money on it, but at least I have more casuals to waste time with on it.
The "Girl Blog" part? Oh. The girl in the story is totally non-beddable or even dateable. Seriously, she's more traditionally conservative than me on this stuff, and I'm pretty archaic about it as it is, lol. So don't throw me any ideas along the lines of... yeah, with her.

As if I didn't already have enough stuff on my proverbial plate, I've chosen to embark on a quest involving the creation of a Neon Genesis Evangelion Abridged Series, titled "Abridgelion." Plan is to write up a script over break (which started two days ago for me), voice and edit everything next semester, and have the whole thing uploaded by the time I graduate in May. A daunting task, to be sure. But I have help, I'm wickedly inspirational, and I have WAY too much time on my hands.
Planning to crank through my Mandalorian costume as well since I'll be home for the better part of 6 weeks. Will upload with pics as that's coming along.
