Watch in HD guys.
Ok, so I decided to fill in some of the "blank" parts of my cast with my plans once I get my undergraduate degree. By blank, I mean the parts of the game where the players are macro'ing and tech'ing up. But also because I forgot the results of that matchup, it worked against me in the essence that I almost the all-in.
This was an old game from the ASL that I forgot the results of. I knew that tyrantrush did not make it to the round of 32, but of course, I forgot how exactly he was knocked out of the tournament.
These are some of the more prevalent terms that I need to learn :
"Mining Time"
"ramp" or "choke"
"Roach Warren" (The real word for it, not just "B.R.")
and that's all I can think of for the time being...
Lately I just came to the realization that most casters, including those who are big in Taiwan like SoBadRush and JoemanSC2 always have a dayjob, so I got with the program and found my own job.
And, on a side note I have been invited to cast the IEM Poland TW/KR qualifiers in Chinese. The last time I did the TW/KR qualifers in Chinese, I could only do one day and my casting was terrible because I was extremely sleepy throughout the whole thing. The second big failure was the fact that I didn't show up for the second day of the TW/KR qualifers for IEM poland because I slept through it even though I had set my alarm clock for it. But the problem is, when I was casting it, I only got a fraction of the viewers I could have had but the event took place during daylight, when everyone in Taiwan and China was working. This one, I believe, is held on a weekend. So there should be no real problem.
As always, I am happy to do other events and get them more viewership as well. This week there is no ASL because next week we will begin the double-elimination format of the round of 32 for the ASL. I'm not entirely sure how this will work (multiple games running at the same time? Donno, this is how ASL round of 128 took place). And I'm thinking the finals will take place some time around Christmas. In terms of the ASL, I'm usually the last one to know what is actually happening because I wake up one hour before the ASL begins.
EDIT: this is crazy. I got on a bus to come to school and sat next to a guy that said he saw me casting the IEM Singapore a couple of weeks ago. This happened just a few minutes after I made this post. Small world.
