After a pretty heated debate about whether the Infestor is a balanced unit or not the other night during MLG, a sudden thought slammed into my head. No, it wasn't about balance. I've always had trouble with Infestors, but that's not the point. The point is as follows:
Infestors can produce eight infested Terrans maximum at full energy, no? (Correct me if I am wrong.) The eggs that the infested Terrans come from seem to be approximately one third the size of the infestor, so logically they should only be able to hold three infested Terrans at a time. ...So where are they keeping the rest?
This will drive me mad. I must know. Where do they keep the other infested Terrans? A gap in the space-time continuum? If so, how does that work? Or do they summon them; warp them in from somewhere else like a Protoss? Does this mean the Zerg have gotten ahold of Protoss technology? If so, when did this happen and how?
...I must know.
Currently Listening To: Smile.dk - "Koko Soko"
P.S. I once translated this whole song into rough Japanese and managed to make it so that it rhymed while keeping pretty much true to its original meaning...but I lost the file. T_T

Not knowing if it's a matter of improperly scaled units, I'm just going to say they have a subspace-Mary-Poppins-pocket-dimension-handbag inside of their bodies.

So... are you subtly asking for a cooldown between spitting out each infested terran, or is this just a blog about one of those unit creation lore impossibility things like "how do mutalisks breathe when they fly through space" or "how do nydus wurms travel to floating island bases"?

How the hell does ultralisks come out of that small egg?!
SOMEONE TELL ME ARGHHH

The latter, no worries, I'm not putting balance in blogs, haha~

Well, seeing how the board is two-dimensional (width+length), they might just be taller than ITs. They could be three squares high with the ITs stacked on top of each other.

The eggs grow at an insane rate AS they exit the infestor. Inside the body they are itty bitty.

I thought infested terrans come out of command centers, not infested reavers.
Blizzard is really dropping the ball on this one.

You are assuming that the egg is solid inside, this may not be true - perhaps as they are ejected out of the infestor they get filled with gases to help the infested terran withstand the impact of landing onto hard ground after being thrown several hundred feet. The infested terran himself may be rather small compared to the infestor if folded up. Think of how small a guy curled up into a ball can be.

the trail that you see infestors leave is actually a mini nydus-worm connected to the guts of the festor, and feeds them infested terran eggs for them to vomit up, obviously
