Examples: I'd log into WoW to raid even though I was so burnt out in playing that I couldn't wait to log off. I'd grind out ladder games on Starcraft just because I wanted to improve. Even though I was extremely burnt out and couldn't stand playing anymore, I'd still force myself to log in everyday and play. I'm not really like that anymore though. If the game loses its fun factor for me I just take a break. No point in playing a video game if it lost its fun factor.

Yeah, I used to do the same thing with SC2 until I just found out that there were other games that were much more enjoyable to play for fun. I just don't really see the point of not playing games for fun anymore unless there are signs that I'll become a progamer, which is highly unlikely to happen anytime in the next 10 or so years lol... This has happened to me in a lot of games actually. Guild Wars 2: Lost all its fun value for me after about 30 hrs of playtime. It just seemed like such a grind from that point on and I just didn't feel like going through all the shit to get to max level where I hoped it would get better. Diablo 3: After I cleared act 4 of inferno and got pretty geared, there wasn't really anything to do but do the same thing over and over again for gear that would not make the game more fun. Borderlands 2: The quest system ruined this game for me. I really enjoyed the main story and it was all I wanted to do in it, I found all the sidequests to be uninteresting and boring, but it was really difficult to only do the main story quests since they did not give enough XP to make you even with the mobs in the next mission. I kinda want to just go and play this game more to beat it, but I know that my time can be better spent elsewhere I did find WoW raiding to be enjoyable though, at least until cata came out
