A while ago, inspectors from 311 ("311 is New York City's main source of government information and non-emergency services" copied from their main site) came in and wrote down every single problem my mom revealed and stated. I don't really know what they did with that information but its safe to assume they complained to the apartment because today, the manager came into my apartment and started to take pictures (I wasn't home, my mom was). The guy started to tell my mom that the apartment was too messy to fix and blames all the problems happened because of us. He also says to throw out more stuff (from the previous blog, i had said we got bedbugs and threw out a lot of furniture and belongings). The belongings are piled in the middle of a bedroom and it is intimidating but most of it is books and clothing.. I don't understand how we can be blamed for messing up the apartment. Yeah right cause we can somehow fuck up the oven and crack open holes in the wall in obscure places.
I mean, i feel fully convinced that he wants us to leave. Its been expressed that my family wants to stay here because of convenience of location and cost. My mom and my dad both work and my sister and I both spend a lot of hours on school and we all "clean up." It's also ridiculously cold this fall and sleeping close to the floor is starting to bother us all.
The rant is directed towards the response to the manager this time around, he said he will help us with each issue 1 by 1 (4 months and counting, and still all these problems) but I'd like to end this but it troubles me how the manager might justify his unaccounted actions if we were to bring the law into this because i feel people will only judge the situation based on the cover.
