EPTThis means I haven't been able to play quite as much as I want to. But I have been playing some. Just not five games a day.
Today though, I did play five games. These five games were all wins. I feel like my macro has improved a bunch and I win my games around 20 minutes with hive units. When I first started playing zerg and for quite a while after that I had a hive at about 40 minutes so this is definently a big improvement.
I could tell that my opponents did not have the same macro as me and it was really quite noticable. This gives me hope for the future. It feels like I'm improving, which of course, is my goal.
I played 4 ZvT's and a ZvP.
They all followed the same general structure.
VS Terran: 14 pool 14 gas and 15 hatch into ling infestor while expanding and on hive mixing in some ultras.
VS Protoss: 14 pool 15 hatch taking a third at about 4:30 in to roach ling but since my macro isn't quite good enough to max at 11 or 12 minutes, due to a bunch of supplyblocks, I simply Get infestors and wait for ultras unless the protoss pushes. In wich case I just defend and wait for my ultras and then push out.
I hope this trend of improving will keep going and that I won't get set back too much by school.
