DOTA2 style work-in-progress artwork

UltimateHurl Ireland591 Posts August 30 2012 18:06 GMT #1 Hey guys, I've been writing my PhD thesis so I've had no time to paint or post, but this is what I'm currently working on: The rough idea is Gordon Freeman as a DOTA2 character, since I love Valve's work and thought it'd be fun to try the style of concept art they have. Happy to hear TL has dedicated a forum to DOTA2 now, and looking forward to The International this weekend!

UltimateHurl Ireland591 Posts August 31 2012 07:03 GMT #6 Haha, I've been toying with some ways to be subtle about it being Gordon Freeman, the helmet is to make him look more like a warrior, but there's no way to show the face that doesn't look quite similar to Dragon Knight or similar DOTA heroes. Might try both ways
