I am by no means a pro gamer. I am socially awkward, nerdy, and have many opinions about anything from politics to video games. I have a lot of time on my hands so I get to thinking a lot. Not to say I don't have friends, I do. I talk to them everyday via skype(the world's best form of free communication) and that’s what keeps our friendship alive. Other than playing SC2 with them on skype, I don't really do much else. I enjoy thinking about things and learning about things, I read about subjects for hours at a time if I am interested in them. Video games are of course one of the things I think about in my spare time. My Favorite game is Final Fantasy VII, I would recommend it to anyone with a PS3 or PSP, it can be downloaded on the Play Station Network for about ten dollars, last time I checked. It was originally made for the Play Station 1, but being the best selling and most beloved of all the Final Fantasy games ever, it was released for download on the PSN and had several spin off games made about it, including a movie. I would love to talk more about it, but I want to continue on with other ideas, though I do have videos of myself talking about it on my Youtube channel, which will be linked at the end of this thread.

Now as for television shows, my ideas are a little… different. In my opinion, everyone should just cancel whatever cable plan they have. There are really no good shows on television. There are a few good shows here and there, but not nearly as much as there should be for the price of it. Instead spending a fraction of the money on Netflix, you get a huge amount of shows, and you can watch them whenever, they add more shows all the time and have a little of everything. Good shows range form Firefly, Doctor Who, Clannad, and so many classic films, you will never run out and again, for a fraction of the price. While I am thinking about it, I want to mention a concept that is greatly under used; emotional attachment. When the viewer connects with the chanters of a show so much that they begin to feel an emotional attachment to them. When this happens, the concept of the show can suck, nothing happens and there is little action to speak of and yet the show still seems good. Clannad and Firefly do a great job of this. The amount of emotion and the connection you have to the charters causes you to love the show and want to keep watching it and will literally cause you to weep or cheer if the moment is right.

Now for the more philosophical section of this blog. I feel that this world in general, would be a lot better place if everyone thought more. That is all! If people just thought about themselves, other people, the world and things around them. Thinking about what things make you happy, or mad. What objects do you care about and what do you like to do and with who. Take a second to sit back and really think about the world and the pople and things in it. You won’t get what I am saying a first, but if you stop to do this every once in a while, you will start to understand a lot more about people, systems and the reason the world is the way it is.
