did anyone else here play sc demo back in the day when it had loads of people playing? 1999~ or something

BGH games were so awesome (even the other maps), whether it was 1v1, team game or ffa. standard game would be surrounding base with turrets/siege tanks into bcs :D

and close spawn positions were always intense with tanks and nukes later on to clear turrets and shit

I remember playing on some really small 2 player map that had the spawns at 11 and 5. You could only pick Terran and I remember making this vulture rush build, winning some games, thinking I was the shit, and trying to join some clan. Not sure if it was the demo..

nah dont remember sc demo having 2v2 map, and clans were unheard of at the time

I played the single player demo.....

I remember fucking jumping out of my chair when I approached my first sunken colony and it attacked me.

I made a bunker in the middle of my base and put 4 SCV's in it so I could rebuild if I got wiped out, because I thought it was like a fallout shelter.

Wait....why is this in general?

Though yeah, when I first saw sunkens (and zerg in general I guess) I was so creeped out by them for some reason. Probably something to do with how they looked like bugs, typical "infectious" aliens etc.
