Hullo Liquiders,

For the few of you who may know of us already I am more commonly known as Basic and CanadianStarcraft is a dated name the I have taken the steps to change here on TL to better represent who I am. That aside I am taking a few moments to make a fairly substantial update to what we are doing and just who we are.

It has been roughly three months since we started this project and when we did we were not quite sure what we were doing or exactly what we were going for. We have smoothed out a lot of the bumps and I am here to give a better sense of insight to exactly those things.

The House of LoL is a project that aims to bring you some what we hope is entertaining as well as educational content about our favourite game: League of Legends. There are five members, three living under one roof and the other two in close proximity. We do this through a series of avenues but all taking the form of video. All content is sectioned off in to different areas so a person can get at just what it is they enjoy from our project as there is a lot to decide from.

The Web Series

The most direct contact we have to talking about this game to our audience is through our once a week web series post one Blip.tv, YouTube and iTunes. The web series appears first on Blip, then on iTunes and on YouTube last. So if you are looking for new episodes the best place to check first is always Blip.

In the show we talk all things League of Legends but focus mostly on the meta, patch note and what the individuals in the house are currently fiddling with or working on champion wise. You can expect the show to make remarks on all big news in the community as well, including events like IPL and MLG. This is usually the only place you will get to see all of the faces of the players behind the names on webcam. The stream sadly does not feature all of them.

The Live Stream

Probably the most fun and interactive part of the project, we bring you the vast majority of our game play live with commentary from everyone as we play. The stream has an average up time of about 30 hours a week but we are working to increase that as I bring more house members in to the fold of live streaming from their perspectives.

We interact with our audience both through the chat and through the game directly, playing All Random All Mids on Proving Grounds with fans as well.

Video on Demand

Our video on demand is not just a mash of random videos strung together on a single YouTube page, rather we have taken to approach to separate videos in to playlist that show a specific type of game or video.

Some sections containt substantially more videos then others as they are newer or the content is in higher demand. Please let us know if you want to see more of one type more often.

Our newest playlist and what we are most excited about is a playlist of games with one, two or all the house members partaking in organized ranked games for the highly prized ELO points.

Social Media

Aside from the video aspect of our project we also entertain the notion that social media is important to this project as well. We have a Twitter and a Facebook page where all members contribute to updating both for everyone who fallows us to enjoy. Updates are focused around League of Legends but also just everything we enjoy as well.
