I know how it feels man, just relax and take some time off. Things will be clear to you with contemplation and distance. Lay back and listen to this song

yet.....I feel like I've hit the proverbial "wall" in my play. I feel like I am no longer getting better, just
worst. I was top plat playing diamonds and now am struggling to play plats I would 3 days ago eat for
breakfast. So, I am just struggling. I feel like im playing the same and as well as before but just frankly
am sucking right now. I study how the pros play, have a decent understanding of the game. I just
cannot find why I am getting worse rather than better with the more time i devote to getting better.
There isn't just one match up I excel in (I play terrran ^^) and am, as I know most terran's are,
struggling with toss. So, with that said, any words of advice? I do watch Day 9 quite frequently and try
to learn that way but the more I play, it just seems to fall apart. Also, another problem I have found is
that I had set practice partners, yet now they do not play as much or at all =(. So any words of
encouragement, tips, links, etc would be wonderful!!!! ^_^ I really hope to continue to be part of this
community and hope that I will get better so I have more reason to stay here! ^^
There is no hope for terran in the forseeable future. Blizz are determined to see no terran left in ladder, no terran anywhere. They continue buffing toss and zerg although terran is really struggling at all levels. There are currently 30% less terrans on ladder than tosses or zergs (see sc2Ranks). Everywhere, every terran is losing and losing and losing.
But don't fear. Play! Play and lose. Play and maybe win some. Under these circumstances you would become better and better and better. You might become that good that even when the unfair advantages zergs and tosses have doesn't matter. And then someday, blizz will buff terran or nerf zerg and toss. I can compare this only to a guy who had weights on his arms and legs, each 20 kilos. This guy always wanted to become a pro fighter. Unfortunately, those weights made him weaker than the other fighters and he constantly lost. But he never gave up. He trained and trained. One day, when they removed the weights of his arms and legs, nobody in the world could beat him.
Cause, you see, Blizzard and the stupid tosses and zergs can't take away your fightings spirit. I can tell you something. Each game you win against toss or zerg is worth 3103100 times more than every game they win against you. Cause winning as toss or zerg doesn't require much skill at any level, it's basically having superior economy and upgrades and then a moving. Each toss or zerg opponent you play on ladder has roughly 30% worse mechanical skills and reaction time and would be roughly 30% worse than you if there was balance. it's very easy to play toss and zerg. But you, you go the hard way. You actually EARN each win. That is what matters.

Keep playing.
yeah man, terran is losing and losing, and definitely hasn't been in the top 4 or finals of every major tournaments in.. forever.
Either way, even if it was imbalanced, it doesn't mean shit at a lower level of play. Being a solid player >>>>>>>>>>> balance whine at a ladder level.

To the OP. You see what zergs are telling you? They are telling you that their race actually requires skill. I, as the proud owner of a masters zerg acc, can tell you it doesn't take any skill to get wins with zerg or toss. Of all the players you see on tournaments, only terrans are the ones that truly deserve to be there. Don't mind the weeds (the tosses and zergs, that is) that keep telling you you are losing to toss cause you somehow failed to apply pressure, stutter, emp split, focus with vikings and dodge all his storms. Just keep things honest, tell yourself:
I had to do 300 actions for 3 seconds, he did a move and two storms and won, it might not be fair, but he is a terrible player, far worse than me, cause I almost won that battle. That's a fact, you are better than every toss or zerg you meet on ladder, just don't forget it. And when Blizzard finally decide to nerf toss and zerg, you will be CRUSHING chobo skulls.

Exactly. It's impossible to beat protoss or zerg, they are just too broken. Did you see they are making overlords faster? How fucking imbalanced is that? Just remember that as long as you have pride and more apm you can win.
