If you were taking time out to scope other ladies, perhaps it was a natural consequence that she'd lose interest in someone that wasn't fully interested in her.

That's still not what you said in your other blog. I'm glad someone else pointed it out because I was about to link it. While the previous blog doesn't exactly paint the picture of you being the stellar, long distance boyfriend (as you mentioned in a different post - isn't the TL search function great?), I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not the cheating type. Actually, it's a shame that you never got that girl's number because your situation would at least earn you a pity date! Sorry about the breakup. If you haven't already, talk with close friends and start expelling the excess emotions. I'm sure there's a lot more rage than two paragraphs of blogs can convey. You're certainly entitled to tell your ex all that she's done to you, not to mention almost-certain ire of being dumped over text. If she won't hear you out then good riddance. Either way, pick yourself up and move on.

Also, tell us about the girl, how you met, if there were any signs. It makes for a good read and helps you put it into perspective.

There were definitely signs, but I didn't want to see them. I'm the type of person who doesn't give up easily, so I tried to make it work, even if it wasn't easy.

The reason that I was noticing other girls is because honestly, something in the relationship broke when my ex cheated the first time, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fix it for me. If it actually got to the point where there was another girl I wanted to be with, I'd just end it.

But, sometimes you gotta use your best judgement. But, for now, you just gotta keep on carrying on. Forgive, rest, heal, and move on to a better tomorrow.

From a logical standpoint, I know it wasn't the best relationship, but this still hurts like hell. We were together for about 8 months, so it's just... kinda shocking to be without her.

It makes me sad that people hurt each other so much. That being said, I think a diss-rap song is in order for her.
