Row two: Row one is "one one". Row three: Row two is "two ones" Row four: Row three is "one two, one one". Et cetera. Therefore, Row six: Row five is "three ones, two twos, one one". I'm reall dumb so I'm having problems with this as I think the secuence is 1, 1+1, 2+1, 3+1, 4+1 and the next secuence should be 5+1 with this in mind 1 is (1) x , 1+1 is (2): which is x+x or 2x or x+x , then 2+1 is (3): (2) + (1), and then 3+1 is (4): (1) + (2) + (1), and then 4+1 is (5) : (1)+ (1) + (1) + (2) + (3) so the next one at least for me is 5+1 but like I say, im really dumb as I can't figure how, because now it repeats and evolves into a new secuence I can't see maybe 1111 21 21 ?? arghh now is even worse 111 21 22 1 !! my reasoning 1 = x 1 1 = x+x (11) 1 = {(x+x)+x} 1 (11) 1 1 =x+ {(x+x)+x} + x 111 (11) (11) 1= x+x+{(x+x)+x}+(x+x)+x and last 111 (11)1 (11)(11) 1= x+x+x+{(x+x)+x}+(x+x)+(x+x)+x this is driving me crazy XD | ||

As a math educator, I give this to my students for fun They often try to come up with interesting math operations to connect the rows to each other, and so they fail to come up with the next row until they think outside the box | ||
