So many grudgematches but nowhere another grudgematch blog entry to be seen. Are these not happening? Or am I missing something? I'd like to see some of these being casted or at least streamed..

well bad as in there are very few people there. I haven't encountered any other problems. it's actually really good, just semi-dead.

I think your personal qualms with some admins are fairly irrelevant. iccup has provided a stable server for the bw community that has virtually no downtime for many years now. that's awesome.
