And yes, it has been discussed that getting a room around cebit in hanover is either freaking expensive or impossible. But organizers should tell foreign participants at least if their room is not in regular hotel. Also to the guy bringing a the "german are racists"-claim: Not speaking english is different from being racist. | ||

I also share some of your pain. I had to cross Germany once by train(s), and then one of them got rescheduled, and the loudspeaker informed everyone, in perfect german. I could only tell something was wrong when everyone started complaining and leaving. I finally made it, but the sensation of being in a place where you are essentially unable to comunicate with the people around you is not very nice. That made me realize I need to learn at least some basic german. | ||
