Back in Sweden I have always had a top of the line stationary computer with a superior internet connection. I had to give it all up when I came to London, and I have been living on a 10 inch laptop and super weak wireless. It is more than frustrating. My biggest problem is that my laptop doesn’t really support the newer games SC2 or Dota 2, and my internet isn't stable enough for SC:BW or the original DotA.
I am therefore confined to most of the time to watch streamed computer games. That might not really sound like a issue, but I just love playing much more than watching pros duke it out in tournaments (Although it’s fun when I got one of my favourite pros so I got someone to root for of course!to root for).
I am able to play now and then on my girlfriend’s big 17” laptop but the opportunities are too few and far between. I have been browsing the internet for internet cafes or anything, but the only one I found out about closed down in 2008. No wonder BlinG and DeMusliM is so alone being pros here in Britain.
Not doing something that you have done for 15 years is quite a challenge, and many times a week I think about just going back home to Sweden and live happily ever after in the country of gaming.
